Who we are

Announser is operated by Atomia Oy (Finland). Contact: support{'@'}atomia.fi.

What we collect

Account information: name, email, and (if you use password login) a hashed password.

SSO sign-in: if you sign in through an SSO service provider, we may receive an account identifier, name, and email address (and whether the email is verified). We use this only to create or sign you into your Announser account and to link that SSO login to your account.

Service content you provide: crews, events, invitations, RSVPs, uploaded files and media, page content, and optional calendar links or notification settings you enable.

Technical data needed to run the Service: session cookies to keep you logged in, and routine server/security logs.

How we use data

We use personal data to provide Announser: authentication, crews and events, invitations and email notifications related to the Service, storage of your content, and securing the Service.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use SSO service provider user data for advertising. We do not use that data for purposes unrelated to providing Announser account sign-in and the core Service features described above.

Uploaded content is public

All content you upload or publish in Announser — including event details, media, files, page content, and similar materials — is to be considered publicly available. Do not upload anything you need to keep secret.

The only exception is credentials and login secrets (for example passwords, session cookies, and SSO tokens), which are not treated as public content.

Sharing

Because uploaded content is treated as public, other users and visitors may be able to access it. Account credentials remain private as described above.

We use service providers (processors) for hosting, file storage, and sending email. They process data only to provide those services for us.

If you sign in with an SSO service provider, that provider processes your account data under its own policies when you authenticate.

Storage and retention

We store account and service data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise associated personal data within a reasonable time, except where we must keep limited records for legal or security reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile in Account settings, switch away from SSO by using another login method after setting a password where available, and request access, correction, or deletion by emailing support{'@'}atomia.fi.

EU/EEA users have rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto).

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
